Project Development on the Linz Textil AG Site – Reutte

The project development on the site of a previous textile factory was focused on creating a new quarter with cross-regional significance and sustainable development. In an intensive development process that took several years, a coordinated development concept was finally released together with the most important stakeholders on site.

Now, four core areas are to be pursued that will allow for holistic development at the location:

• Housing
• Working space
• Leisure facilities
• Social provision

This concept will enable a development and settlement of the area according to the long-term development goals of the market community of Reutte and will set a sustainable impulse in the new district.

The project area is characterized by its location close to the center and yet close to nature, directly on the Lech (nature reserve/Natura 2000). This very special situation offers a very special development opportunity for both the community of Reutte and the surrounding area.
